ReadSprint respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can manage or delete your information.

Data we collect

• Cover images you upload (stored only if you choose to save a summary)
• Account information when you sign in with OAuth (email, user id)
• Quiz attempts and generated summary metadata (when you save or take quizzes)
• Basic analytics (IP, request timestamps) to enforce fair use limits
• Website usage analytics via Google Analytics (only with your consent)

Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with our site and improve our service. This is only enabled if you accept cookies via our consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser data. Google Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as page views, time spent on pages, and general user behavior patterns.

How we use data

We use uploaded covers to generate chapter summaries with our AI service. If you save a summary, we store the generated text and any associated quiz attempts so you can access them later. We may store anonymized logs (for example, hashed IPs) to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse.

Third-party services

ReadSprint uses third-party providers for authentication and AI generation (for example Supabase and OpenAI). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details about their data handling.

Your choices

If you have an account, you can delete saved summaries or request that we delete your account data by contacting support. Uploaded cover images that are not saved are not stored long-term.
